2/1/2023 - Concerta Medication Shortage

The generic form of Concerta (Methylphenidate extended-release tablets) is discontinued by the manufacturer as of January 2023.  Currently, there is also a nationwide shortage of ADHD medication.  Please call the office when a refill is necessary and allow up to 7 business days to fill your prescription.  We understand the inconvenience and frustration this brings.  We ask for your patience at this time as our staff is working hard to help support our families during this issue.

Contacting our office:

We ask for your patience during this time of increased illness in our communities. While we understand the frustration of being on hold with our office, we are doing our very best to answer each call and provide each patient and family with exceptional medical care.
Our entire staff is working as hard as they can to provide care for our patients during this time. Please be kind and respectful to those working their hardest to provide these services. Becoming rude and/or argumentative will not be tolerated and will be addressed by our management team at Walpole Pediatrics.
