Walpole Pediatrics is currently working with the state department to receive COVID vaccine for children ages 6 months to 5 years. We expect the vaccine to be delivered to our office within the next week.
Please check this website for further details regarding scheduling your child for their COVID vaccine over the next few days. Vaccine clinics will be held at Walpole Pediatrics over the next several weeks.

Positive Antigen Test at Home
If you test positive with an antigen test at home Walpole Pediatrics will not do additional Covid-19 testing in our office. You should follow CDC isolation guidelines and isolate for 5 days. Should you develop fever greater than 3 days worsen cough shortness of breath chest pain or if you are not able to stay hydrated, please call our office to speak to one of our triage nurses.
Cardiac Clearance
If you test positive and are greater than age 12 years at home or in the office , please text 508-404-7079 10 days after your positive test result.
Those who are greater than 12 years old with a positive COVID test result are required to stay out of sports and physical activity for 10 days.
Please call the office (508-668-2200 #2) sooner if you have fever of 100.4 for greater than 4 days, fatigue or body aches for greater than 1 week, chest pain or shortness of breath.
Covid-19 Vaccination Policy
Walpole Pediatrics policy for a Covid-19 vaccination exemption letter will follow the CDC guidelines. Medical exemption for Covid-19 vaccination is for very specific reasons that can be found on the CDC website https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/c... . If you or your child have concerns regarding your school’s Covid-19 vaccination policy we recommend you contact the school’s health department to express your concerns. The physicians, nurse practitioner and nursing staff Walpole Pediatrics highly recommends Covid-19 vaccination for all eligible patients.
We encourage our eligible patients to be vaccinated against Covid 19. Please visit https://www.mass.gov/covid-19 to find a convenient location near you.
Currently, the manufacturer recommendation for Covid-19 asymptomatic testing is by PCR only. Please call the office to schedule an appointment.
As we continue to navigate the Corona virus pandemic and follow recommended protocols, our office will remain open. We are asking anyone over the age of 2 to wear a mask when entering our office.
Currently, our check-in process is to call the office from the parking lot and press number 3 to reach the front desk - 508-668-2200 #3. We will check you in and when your appointment is ready to begin you will receive a callback and you will be directed as to what door you will enter the office. If you are scheduled for a well visit or consult you will be asked the following questions both when appointment is confirmed and on the day of your appointment if you answer yes your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
1. Within the last 14 days have you/your child or a household member had close contact with a symptomatic person diagnosed with COVID-19 or awaiting test results?
2. Within the last 3 days have you/your child had any of the following symptoms; fatigue, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. fever, chills, cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat, body aches, new headache, or loss of taste or smell?
We will continue to be open on Saturdays for emergent illnesses. Sundays our office will be closed but please, remember we always have staff available by phone to help you.
